Is it normal to be annoyed with adults who are too old?

I mean people who are in their 60,50,40 and do not understand how stuff works. So they tell people what they should do based on what worked in THEIR TIME. The only issue is that stuff does not work like it did when they were kids so they have no reason to get angry at this generation.

Such as

1.When I was a kid they hired the first person who walked in with a application
2.When I was a kid you could support yourself with a minimum wage job alone, buy a car and pay all your bills no problem
3.When I was a kid I turned in all my applications in person not online. You need to learn to get off your computer for once.
4.I got a job at 12 years old as a paper boy, why were you not working at 12?(Since by law you cant work till 16 and most paper jobs you have to be 18, WTF?)

Its like get with the time period. Nothing works that way anymore!

The world has degenerated. We must learn to adapt to a less functional environment.

Annoyed with adults who are too old? That's the stupidest post ever. What exactly is "too old"?

But what you're saying is true, especially when people go on like their generation was better because it started the Vietnam War and ruined the environment and polluted the atmosphere and blah blah blah...

There are dumb ass old people that don't want to accept change. Then there are smart old people that predict change and profit from it on the stock market. You get to choose which of the two you will become.

It's perfectly normal for people to be smug and condescending. It's sounds like you've got a great start on it already. As technology and culture in general continues to accelerate you'll probably be one of those useless people when you're about 30. Good luck with the scorn of those too young to know what's actually important in life, you're going to need it.

There's a difference between not knowing how to do something, and going on and on about how things were in the past. The old people I know are willing to learn how to use "the Facebook" and "the i-pod" (which is my grandmother's name for every tablet device).
