Is it normal to be blind for like 2min after smoking weed

So I hadn’t smoked weed for like 3 days and I usually smoke multiple times a day. Anyways I started getting hella dizzy, like when you get up to fast. I ignored it at first because I thought it would pass, so I went to take a shower but it only got worse. At one point everything became totally grey and I couldn’t see anything, so I thought I was going blind. I then decided to get out of the shower cause I didn’t want to pass out there and as I tried to get out my body just gave up and I fell out of the shower, into the wall and then hit the ground. After like 30sec my sight came back and everything was okey again. (I couldn’t see for like 2-3min) Has this happend to anyone before and is it dangerous?

    A similar thing happened to me when I would shower on weed.

    Leave that shit alone.

    That sounds as if it could've been a sudden drop in your blood pressure. If it happens again, maybe you should stay away from weed

    Sounds like a white out. weed lowers your blood pressure, and not enough blood reaching the ocular nerve can cause temporary blindness. Could still be lacing though.

    That doesn't seem safe to me. Checking up with a doctor would actually be nice. If you don't want to then I think you shouldn't smoke for your well being.

    Extreme reactions of this sort are mentioned here occasionally.

    It has been suggested that either the weed had been laced with something, or it was just some powerful shit. And of course people react differently to any given drug, and sometimes individuals react differently to a drug they're familiar with due to other factors.

    Nobody will know why you reacted this way, but if it made you blind for a while and you lost voluntary control of your muscles, then that pretty clearly indicates it wasn't doing you any good.
