I am as into working on cars almost as equally as I am in computer programming (a lot). Is it normal to like two radically different things?
Also I was the computer nerd in high school, while at the same time a pretty ok wrestler on the wrestling team; is that normal?

yes it's fine. you're thinking too much about what kind of person you "ought" to be. my boyfriend and I love both, it must be even more strange since Im a female..

i love computer science, it's what i majored in. i also love playing and watching basketball, i like to cook, wear black nail polish and black eyeliner to gothic nightclubs, decorate my apartment, ex-girlfriends have told me i decorate my apartment better than any girl (or gay guy) they've ever known (I'm straight).
so yes, you're normal. my likes and dislikes are all over the place. and i really don't care what people think. and while i have no interest in cars, i've always been fascinated with airplanes and the space shuttle.
