I guess it's normal. For a while I considered the fact that I no longer believed in Christianity. That, and I had atheistic tendencies.

I'm now a atheist/Buddhist. I've meet people who didn't think it was normal to be a Buddhist and insisted that I believed in god.

Allot of the people I've met have considered any religion or anyone who didn't believe in god to not be normal. I've come across allot of people who have an intense hatred towards atheists. I've never been able to understand it.

I once knew a guy who was an agnostic. One of my family members found out and "tried to pray for his soul" saying that he was "going to go to hell". One of my dearest friends is Jewish. I've always loved Jewish people. But I've met people who were very angry towards them.

I think everywhere you go, there will always be someone that hates you for what you believe in. Exactly why do you ask this question? Yes, Catholicism is very controversial.... But if you think you're one, then there shouldn't be a problem with it:)

If you consider it normal to believe that bread and wine through a miracle magically turns into the blood and body of Jesus, then yes you are normal. If you also believe that a virgin was magically impregnated by an invisible power, yes, you are normal. If you believe that the child born from this was a man god who sacrificed himself to himself, then yes, you are normal.

There's 2.3 billion Christians so yeah your normal.

It is your own personal beliefs.

Not unusual at all, my family is catholic. The majority of Ireland and Italy is catholic as well. Everybody believes in a religion, unless you're atheist.

How can you may or may not be Catholic? I mean, you'd know if you were or wanted to be.
