Is it normal to be close to your teacher

Hi
I've been depress latly. I'm really close with my teacher and I don't wanna go to 7th grade (in 6th). I'm gonna miss her! I feel like I can talk to her about anything and I'm afraid to leave her. I feel like I'm never gonna b able to be close again . Can u tell me what I can do to keep close with her? And if this is normal? It would realy help.

    Doesn't 6th grade mean you're around 11-12 years old?

    You're too young for this site.

    Anyway, lots of people form bonds with their teachers. The good ones are often role models for us, they are an adult figure to look up to aside from our parents and the best teachers make learning fun.

    So it's normal you feel sad about moving up a year.
