Is it normal to be collecting barbie dolls at this age?

Ok so here it goes...I have loads and loads of barbie stuff. I dont cram it in my room , I used to have a small bedroom but moved to a new one so I put my barbie stuff there. I am 18 and I still collect barbies.It's like barbie world inside my old room which is known as 'barbie's room' I am really serious. I have barbie cushions a pink sofa (Though it's not barbie product) well it's pink anyway and I have loads of barbie's all neatly lined up either sitting in the sofa or next to some more barbie junk. I Am from a well to do family so my parents bought me all this (well I bought some new ones myself too anyway) I even have a barbie dream house and it was probably £35.94 but now probably is £144? Well..I dont know. I get really scared my friends will go into that room while visiting and laugh at me for all that. But I dont want to throw my stuff. They bring memories to me and the truth is I absolutely adore barbie. I got all the barbie movies (Though I think the new barbie movies are crap because they changed her face and voice) and I got the books and all the dolls and all their complete set for example(In barbie in the 12 dancing princesses I got barbie the cat the prince doll and all the other princesses.) I wish i wish I got rid of my obsession for barbie products and chucked them out or sent them to charity?or in a jumble sale? But I cant ...I LOVE BARBIE!!!! IIN?

    You said you're collecting them and not playing with them, so it's normal. My cousin is in her 20s and she has a huge collection of Barbie dolls and beanie babies.

    Just so long as your not delusional or obsessive about it, I don't think it's not normal.
    I'm 20 and I still collect dolls including hard to find Barbies and just other interesting ones.

    sounds normal to me, i have lots of barbies (i play with them though.) if it makes you happy than do it.

    as long as you don't sit and play with barbie on the floor with other wee girls then it is normal lots of people collect dolls and teddy bears. its like when people collect teapots. i don't collect dolls or teddy bears but its normal.

    You sound like a hoarder and to me hoarders are linked with mental problems. Though if I was your friend and went into your room I wouldn't judge you for it. You can do what you like and collect whatever you want!

    If you just like, collect Barbie-brand stuff and don't play with them or anything, then I guess it's normal.
