Is it normal to be confused about my religion?

Hi! I am currently highly confused as to what my religion is. I am leaning toward Christianity, but am still unsure. One day I will be on God's side, the next on the Devil's. I AM SO CONFUSED! Help?

You don't really have to choose, be a good person and try to be happy. It'll solve itself in time.

Forget religion, it will only complicate your life and destroy any possibility of an enjoyable one.
Have faith in yourself; you are just fine w/o a crutch.
Live this one life you have been guaranteed and don't worry or live for that pie in the sky "next life".
"Religion is the opiate of the masses". Do you really want to go through your life as if you were on opium?
Stay, free; you will be happier in the end!

Actually, Mark 9:4 says, "Then Elijah and Moses appeared and began talking with Jesus." Mark 9:4

Men have actually dug up remains of a lot of stuff found in the bible! Look in the old testament, then in the new testament. They both mention the same things, as if they were one voice speaking altogether!! Well, I'm only 14. How should I know. Would anyone like to support me on this, or am I a loner...?

What more evidence do you need? Ask me a question. With simple words that I can actually understand.

Explain how the mountains and the skies are evidence of his glory. Even if you're saying they're too majestic to be coincidental, you're left with a major problem. I can replace your god with Odin, Shiva, Ganesh, Zeus, or any other god and have no change to the argument. If it's evidence for all, it's not evidence for any.

Read the bible. The mountains proclaim His glory, the skies proclaim His handiwork. The reason that people suffer is that so God can show you that He's the one in control. I'm not trying to force religion on you or anything, but do you know what happened about 2,000 years ago? He sent his one and only son to die on the cross for our sins! My sins, your sins. Everyone's sin! He didn't only die, but he was bruised, beaten, and spit on. All for you! And that's the gospel.
"For God loved the world so much that he gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life." -John 3:16

The bible is not evidence. It's the source of the claim.

Well all those fantastic supernatural claims for which no evidence exists.

I am going to have to agree with you. The bible disagrees with itself in so many ways that it is ridiculous. If I am going to choose a religion, it will NOT be based off of the bible.

Choose Islam. One God, who does not beget and not begotten. Jesus is considered one of the great prophets in Islam, not son of God. Check it out, you won't regret. You have nothing to lose. Quran.com

It´s truly a question about personal preferences. If you´re not sure maybe figure out your own beliefs is the answer. But I don´t feel that finding the answer is the problem in this case, I think it´s finding the right questions that will guide you.

That is the problem with religion. Everyone is claiming they have the absolute truth. Literally there are thousands of religion saying that they are the path to salvation. Makes you think that why God just did not make a single religion and not make it a mysterious type of way bullshit. Then someone will answer, that is why we have freewill and God is testing us. Another major bullshit for that. What if I am not smart enough to realize it and he is the one who created me. Where that lands me? What if I was not able to found it even though I am seeking it? I say if people believe in the Devil they might as well believe in Santa Claus or the unicorn.

I am curious by what you mean when you say "Sometimes I am on gods side and sometimes I am on the devils side". I don't see why anyone would want to follow and worship the devil when it only promises to send you to a fiery dimension of pain and suffering if you do believe in religion.

Sorry it was very late for me. I meant about one day feeling like you are on God's side and the next you are on the devil's.

What did you mean by that?

Okay I figured that I was just hoping you might elaborate on that. Like, is it random, or is it your actions that decide if you feel good or bad?
