Is it normal to be confused by the wording of some peoples storys?

So I hate when people will tell their story and then write " is it weird" or " am I strange" at the end. It confuses me. Do I answer yes because you are srange or do I answer no because it isn't normal?

    Yes means its normal and no is not normal, the question at the end usually is meant to be answered in a comment

    I go by how it says:

    "Do you think it's normal?"

    right before the YES or NO
