Is it normal to be confused in math so much that i hate it.

I hate!!! math i'm not good at it. I mean I am smart and I do get it but some things I really don't understand at all And I am going to college and I need to take a College course either 1314 college algebra or 1332 Contemporary Math. Which one should I take. Which one would be more easier for someone who hates math and doesn't really understand it.

It's normal. Math is a complex subject that unfortunately can be a pain in the ass.
Since you'll be going to college soon:
    1. get a tutor
    2. use a calculator
    3. can you change courses? Why pick a career that needs math if you suck at math?

Algebra isn't THAT hard. Wait till you see calculus III or partial differential equations. Let alone tensors which I admit fly above my head.

Yikes. Math is a language I don't speak. Pick a major that doesn't involve math. That's what I did. You're totally normal.. Make friends who are good at math.. they can help you!

I suggest just getting a tutor, maths is one of those things where once you understand the principles, you'll find it easier and so enjoy it more.

I'm already in college i'm about to finish my second semester, anyways it's like almost mandatory it's in almost every career path. Some have just College Algebra and some have College Algebra or Contemporary math. But most likely I will be taking Contemporary math

Okay it's not something I have to get over it's just a question

Yea their is and I am going to go when I have the time. That's great that you got an A in that class. I hope I do as great as that.

Yes, lots of people hate math. Get over it.

Contemporary math would probably be easier. Also, see if your school has a tutoring/study program that can help you out. My school does, and the teacher there is wonderful. If it wasn't for her, there is no WAY that I would have made an "A" in College Algebra last semester.
