Is it normal to be deathly afraid of mosquitoes?
Everytime I see a mosquito i freak out so much that i run downstairs into a room lock the doors and hold a bugzapper...

Everytime I see a mosquito i freak out so much that i run downstairs into a room lock the doors and hold a bugzapper...
In the night (if my window is open ) i always get my bugzapper and is ready for one to pop up
mosquitos love me but I never ever see them. I just notice the bites after the fact.
We don't really get mosquitos in the UK, if I see them abroard they are kind of like a novelty, I just stare at them and think "Yay a mosquito!". They're just like flies or beetles to me...
I had a friend who grew up in Africa that just had to kill any which mosquito that came close to him. He was kind of obsessive that way but you can't blame him: Where he grew up, they are carriers of malaria.
Mosquitoes are scary, especially the big ones. *shivers* But I don't really care if the little ones bite me.
