Is it normal to be disgusted when people make out on your couch?

Long story short, I usually invite my friends over once a week for movie night. Sometimes, one of my female friends brings over her boyfriend, and whenever she does they'll always make out on the couch and I find it quite disgusting when they're all over each other. I don't have a problem with it at all when we're elsewhere (i.e. movies, mall, etc.), but it's a bit uncomfortable when they're on MY couch (or more specifically my parents' couch). The couch always feels a bit contaminated after they leave as well.

Should I say something? Am I valid in my concern? Am I just being prudish? Help please?

PS- I'm single and never had a girlfriend, but I've kissed girls before so I'm not jealous. But I know they're going to bring that up against me if I say anything.

    If you're not concerned about water damage, then bring the hose in and hose their asses down. Tell them to get the fuck off your couch.

    You invite them to your place to watch a movie and then the make out in front of you on your couch?

    Hell, if they started making out on the couch while I was watching a movie, I would just leave the room and do something else. Give them some privacy and save the awkwardness!

    I don't think the couch is contaminated though, give them a few years to put sex stains on it and then your concerns will be valid!

      It might not take a few years if the OP just left the room though! The privacy could be all they need :o nuke them. Solve all problems.

    Start recording it. That should dissuade them. If not, at least you get a non-x-rated porno out of it :D

    I can undersatnd you being well peeved. There's a time and a place for couples to be eating each other and it's certainly not on their friends "parents". These people need to show some respect. xxx

    1. State your feelings. You invited them over to watch a film not swap spit.

    2. Yes, you could leave the room, but imagine what things they may do on your couch.
    Leaving to give them "privacy" still doesn't take of your problem. Until, they can learn how to act while they've been invited to your home, you should stop inviting them over. Hopefully, they'll catch on eventually.

    I have a friend who did that. When I got a boyfriend she got all upset when I even just kissed him quickly, but then she gets a boyfriend and she starts making out with him on the couch when we were watching movies. Same situation, spet my friends a hypocrite.. It's normal, it pissed me off.

    Explain to them why they're over your house in the first place. They're there to watch movies and interact with you. They can make out somewhere else.

    Stop inviting them over if they aren't willing to comply.

    Personally, I'd tell them to get the fuck out.
