Is it normal to be extremely nervous before watching a football game?

Hi. Alabama football fan here. Just wondering if it's normal to be sorta scared before watching a football game. Not that I feel scared for my own being or anything, but I've legitimately never been this scared for a football game. Alabama plays in the National Championship Game in a rematch against LSU (who they lost to on November 5th, 9-6 in overtime) on Monday, January 9th. Of course I've been nervous before a couple games before, but I've never been so scared of one that I've considered not watching it at all.
