Is it normal to be fixated on clowns?

For a few months now I have been overly obsessed with clowns, mostly the porcelain dolls, to the point that I constantly think about them. I started collecting clown dolls and ornaments and my boyfriend is terrified of them.

      Mm. Clowns once existed to entertain kids and now my boyfriend loses his shit whenever he sees one.

        Well its a pretty common fear for adults/kids. But I don't see how they can be scary.
