Is it normal to be freaked out by the cannell entertainment logo?

As long as I can remember, I've had this fear of one of the moving logos that appear either at the beginning or the end of some films. This logo clip featured heavy violin background music. There's a guy typing away at a typewriter, then he suddenly pulls the paper out of the typewriter. It floats into the air until it floats down to a filled stack, and forms the letter C. The paper stack (and letter) are in bold white lines against a black background. Whenever I saw this logo as a kid, I would run as quickly as I could out of the room, and would not go back in... sometimes for hours.

The logo hasn't appeared recently, and I didn't know the name of the studio, so I looked it up on my phone. I found the name of the studio, and also found a YouTube clip... To be sure, I played the clip. I didn't run out of the room screaming, but my heart still raced and I became a little short of breath... I could barely hold the phone, and I certainly couldn't check the other clips out- the first was more than enough. Is this normal? Has anyone else had a fear of this clip or others like it?

  • I can't quite explain it- it may be the combination of the dramatic music and the sudden movement, followed by the high contrast moving image- and maybe the gruffy sweater too... but It's not as if it's very clear cut either. I don't completely get it myself, hence the inquiry.
