Is it normal to be in love with your kitty?

I absolutely adore my cat, and she's so highly attached to me that I'm almost 100% certain that if she were human, she'd want to be in a lesbian relationship with me.

It depends what you mean by "in love." If you mean you love her like family, that's a good thing, because pets should be considered family. And lol @ squirrel's comment, I think my youngest cat is a lesbian. She rubs her face on my boobs lol

I make up goofy, baby talk, gibberish songs about my Siamese cat and I sing them to him. Also when I get up in the morning he likes to cuddle before we get out of bed. I know he wouldn't mind if I just popped up but he looks so cute with his sleepy head face and his body under the covers like a little person. If I'm in the shower too long he stands on his hind legs, puts his paws on the glass door and meows at me to get out. He plays fetch, we take turns chasing each other around and he let me teach him some basic dog obedience. Also he let's me give him baths in the tub like an infant. I don't wanna marry him or anything crazy but he's my special little guy. Sometimes I look at him and wonder what I did to deserve him? I've never known another human being that I could look at with such joy and gratitude as I do with my Siamese. I've had similar feelings about other dogs and cats, so I'll never understand people who aren't animal lovers and I don't really care to understand them or know them very we'll. I hope someday I can get him a Shetland Sheepdog for a sister.

I believe my dog is my soulmate and I love him more than I love any human being. I'm also convinced that when he dies (he is 15) his soul will be transported to a man and that's the man I will marry. HAHAHA I can't be normal.

It's normal to be attached to a pet emotionally, whether it be mog or dog or frog.

BUT it's not normal to be obsessed with your pet, or any member of your family for that matter. It's kind of weird.
