Is it normal to be late for work because you couldn't hurry up?

...and finish taking your morning number 2?
Like you had no way of hurrying it up because it's either too slow coming out, or it's coming out too fast and doesn't seem to want to stop. *sigh*

Is it normal for pooping to interfere with your daily responsibilities and schedule?

Here's what you can try, next time wake up one or two hours before you have to leave for work. Drink your coffee (or whatever makes you go) and then go to the toilet. By waking up those extra hours earlier it should give you more time on the loo and if you have a unpredictable one, you'd wouldn't have to worry!

Ha! Yes! But also partly because I enjoy it and don't want to rush it.

Then you should wake up earlier so you have more time for that

the pooping isn't what takes long for me, it's the cleaning up after it.

Just about every other day this happens to me.
One day I ignored the urge so I wouldn't be late.

Well I got the urge halfway on my drive to work (45 km) I increased my speed a little so I didn't no2 in my pants, got pulled up, wasted more time waiting for the nice officer to write me up and was later for work than I would have been if I pooped at home, then still had to poop at work..

    FML!

I lost track of how many times I've been late to work because I was in the bathroom. It actually became a bit of a problem because I didn't want to leave the house without having a bowel movement first for fear of needing the bathroom while on the bus.

I've been blessed I swear. I hear about this problem from family and close buddies. Certain family members enter the bathroom and I pray I won't have to use yet. I on the other hand can number 2 in a minute tops maybe three minutes if I'm ill. Blessed poop. My husbands like you though. Our wedding started fortyfive minutes late cause he was in the bathroom. He was mortified. I was amused.
