I've been writing in school for English class, the writing has been pretty morbid and my teachers think I'm the next Edgar Allen Poe I was wondering if this is normal?
You should feel complimented and keep writing. You could be better than Poe. Even if your teacher called you a psychotic little shit who needs help, you should still keep writing. Keep feeding that talent and don't let it die.
I would love for someone to say that about me. You should be proud! This doesn't only mean that you're morbid, it means you have a talent for it as well, which is great.

I knew someone like that, only he wrote morbid stories to confuse and shock his teachers. a lot of the stuff he wrote, if it was written today by a kid, would immediatly result in expulsion, a police investigation, and a note for psychiatric help.
