Is it normal to be nauseated after brushing teeth and drinking water after?

Every time I brush my teeth, my mouth feels horrible and it nasuates me, so to make it go away I like to drink something such as water. But sometimes if I do it's fine but some other times it makes me feel even worse and makes me want to throw up.

I get this because I have a really dry mouth and the foaming agents in normal toothpaste make your mouth even drier and grosser. Sometimes it makes me gag and I once even vomited in the middle of brushing teeth. I would suggest you trying toothpaste meant for specifically people with dry mouths from a drugstore.

I think it's pretty common. It kind of reminds me of a few years ago when everyone I knew was doing some kind of challenge that involved brushing their teeth and then drinking orange juice.

I did a google search and it seems to be a fairly common thing. Just ask your dentist what you can do to try to prevent it from happening.

    Should ask your doctor.
