Is it normal to be nervous at the beginning of a relationship?

Is it normal to be nervous at the beginning of a relationship? I'm talking nervous with speaking, unable to really 100% be yourself. Also, being a bit anxious/not yourself about the relationship and maybe thinking that you're not quite good enough for the person, etc.

It's been a month of dating a guy but I'm still nervous like this and have these thoughts. I'm trying my very best though, I think I just have butterflies or bad anxiety/self esteem lol! I just have a lot of doubts about myself for some reason. Is this normal and how long until it subsides?

Btw I'm young & second relationship. Advice appreciated thx!

I couldn’t even eat corn on the cob in front of my bf when we first started seeing each other.

Its a certain area of talking to new ppl I get nervous in. Like when yall both standing there talking and looking at eachother. That can be awkward. Id rather be sitting or doing something while I'm talking. I hate the standing part.
