Resently I've been a lil obsessed wit this rpg( role playing game). I've missed work and lost some good friends because of it. But the game is so good and it makes me feel like i can change the world with a battle and a few spells.I just wish that the whole can be like this.... is that bad of me to think?
SO tell me is this normal?
OH yes, RPG are the best.....if its 2004, its 2012, its all about online play now, it too fun to just be like, "get owned noob, Bwahahahahah"
Who ever voted yes on this is weird. Losing friends and letting RPG interfere with your work is strange, weird, & unhealthy. They are games with false hope & fake spells. You will not save the world, you will only be hurting yourself in the long run.
Rpg is my favorite type of game too. I played wow for a long time and right now I'm really into Skyrim and I've felt like it would be great if it was real which I guess really is the idea. The rpg genre is about immersion into a different world. You just need to make sure you take time to live in the real world.
Yes Rpg's are one of the best game modes ever invented I can testify. Morrowind to Skyrim let's go.
I've been a gamer since youth, but sometimes man you gotta let em go and take care of Business.
I mean look at it this way...you take care of business and business gives you the means to play. I'm guessing you still have to be a teen with someone supporting you with a roof over your head so you don't have to worry about rent, bills, etc...
If so man, wake up and take care of business. You can only play like that so long before life gives you a rude awakening by kicking you in the ass to tell you your not in a video game.
RPG's are my favorite type of game as well. They make you feel like you can just disappear into another world when you are stressed or lonely and be somebody important.
The problem, however, is when that is all you do. It will affect your family ties, relationships with friends, relationships on the romantic level, and your professional life. If this pattern continues you will end up jobless, alone, and homeless. We both know that is not what you want!
The lesson for today kids is -moderation-
