Is it normal to be obsessed with frogs?

I am completely obsessed with frogs. I have eleven of them as pets (and they all have names) I talk to them too. I have little frog statues and ornaments all over my house, and I'm currently building heaps of tanks for more frogs. I spend about 6+ hours a day researching them, and I take days off school/work to set up tanks/research ect.I also have a gecko but I'm not as obsessed with them. I used to have turtles and lizards too. I've spent over 5000 dollars on the (live)frogs in the past two years (not including food). When my one died I had her preserved in a jar ($200) and I cried for two days straight and had to take four days off school/work because I was so upset.
Is it normal t be this obsessed over frogs?

    I'm also obsessed with frogs, but a specific kind of frog I got to know when I traveled a little while ago. It's just that one frog that I love and would be more than happy to have as a pet.

    Totally normal :) It sounds like it's both your hobby and your passion as well! You should be proud of your collection, and of your pets. It makes you unique.

      Trust me I am most definitely proud of my pets! My two whites tree frogs Eddie and Kevin are the best! I always show people pictures and stuff but they think I'm a bit crazy ;D hahaha

      Well did you know that all toads are frogs but not all frogs are toads? O.o did I just blow your mind???

    Everyone has things they obsess over. Yours just happens to be frogs. Nothing wrong with that, frogs are awesome creatures! :)

    I'm a huge tomboy so frogs and other living things don't bother me as much as they do most girls my age. I used to have a turtle too but i mostly want a frog. U must be a big science guy if u research them as much as you say u do, i love science too so thats cool. (;

        I know i just wanted stupid people to go out and lick frogs trying to get high, I think some types you can but it's just the poison chemicals it releases when in survival mode.

          Toads release Bufo toxin, but that does nothing. There is one toad though that can get you high (forgot what its called)
          Also poison dart frogs, but they usually kill you if you touch them. Unless its very mild poison, when you lick them its kind of a tingle on your tongue.
          But they arent poisonous in captivity. They get the poison from their food, and use it for defence.
