Is it normal to be obsessed with school?

It's really annoying me. Every night I dream about being in school and it could be like I am worried I am goig to be late to class or I am taking a final and am messing everything up or if nothing the dream always takes place in my school. But I am on break and I shouldnt be worrying about school anymore, right? I told my friend this and she said that I am obsessed with school. I am kinda. During the school year I freak out about grades and teachers and tests even though I am a pretty average student I get mainly A's and some B's. It's really starting to annoy me and I kind of just want to go back to school and I wish it was September already and I am only in my second week of break. I had hoped by getting my report card that the dreams would stop because it's kind of like closure I had hoped but no. Now I am just mad because I only have really only one more semester to get my gpa up and I need to if I want to get in the good universities I am looking to go to. These dreams are really annoying because i Want to relax and enjoy break but I can't Stop thinking about school.

  • That's not being obsessed with school. It's that at the moment you are going through an important part of your life and you are feeling anxiety about it. If you anxious about your grades, of course it's natural to worry about it all the time. This happens in any situation where the person is faced with a stressful or important change. You constantly comtemplate the outcomes, and consider what you can do to achieve the outcome you want. So you have all these other school related things to worry about too.

You are not obsessed with school.
