Is it normal to be obsessed with the 80s

Ok everyone i know its totally bizzare but im obsessed with the 80s and i have been since i cannot remember i like to listen to the music of that era such as milli vanilli, tears for fears or kim wilde and neneh cherry also INXS (sorry for jabbering) i even stole my mothers records and played them (there from 80s). and then it got extreme i tried dressing like it but could not get the grip of it so i stole my moms 80s jerseys (my mum is not a hoarder she keeps specific things) i also tried to get hair like my idol gary kemp (he's on spandau ballet) search him up so yeah is it normal share your 80s experience and dont forget to tell me if its normal

The 80s were cool. The music was amazing! Among the golden years of rock! Movies were cool. Action flicks with no censorship for special snowflakes. The people were cool. There were only two genders and women embraced their femininity. Tho in terms of dressing, I prefer the greaser style... Kinda how I dress. Jeans, casual/ semi-business leather shoes, formal color (grey, blue, white, black) shirt and greased hair. Aviators are a must when sunny.

I even have an 80s classic car! Bought an E24 635CSI BMW as a project/ weekend car. Coolest coupe of the 80s. Mine doesn't run yet... but it will some day in the near, undisclosed future... Can't wait to fix that baby up, dress like a failed pornstar and go on a riviera trip with my girlfriend, while blasting 80s music.

  • You can buy a Flock of Seagulls wig and scare your mum.
I like 80s music too. There was a lot of diverse music in that decade, keep exploring it. Blondie even had a successful rap song back then.

Hated the cheesy music, but loved the women having big hair, makeup, long, polished (typically red) nails, and tight pants. They were always in competition with each other and not afraid to admit it. Other than that, the economy sucked, we were always at war, and guys thought mullets were ok. Hint: they're not.

I loooove all these 80's rock bands. That was insane and over the top. I don't even think massive arenas with that many people filling in around a stage is even legal like that, is it? Things were crazy back then. Very hedonic, very excessive.

Guess you've found John Hughes movies, right? If not, Ferris Bueller!!! The Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, yes?

You should see The Lost Boys. Great 80's movie about vampires.

Speaking of 80's there's all this MTV stuff if you look it up, like this:

Everybody has to believe in something. I believe it's time for another beer. I love the 80's especially the music. There's a movie that's set in 80's with Topher Grace from That 70's show. The movie called "Take Me Home Tonite". There's a small women's breasts nudity part so if kids around, you been warned.
