Is it normal to be overly happy that i got a b plus on an exam?

    In absolute terms, B+ is not a bad grade at all! It may not be an A. But the fact is that it is better than what the majority of people got in your class. LOTS of people would LOVE to get a B+, particularly in a class in which they are weak.

    Of course, another way to look at this is in more relative terms. Is this an area of study where you normally get better grades? If the answer is YES, then Incan understand somewhat how you feel. But hey, things happen. You're human, and maybe the circumstances just weren't the best. Maybe you slacked off aomewhat. If this is the case, keep in mind that at least a B+ is NOT a bad grade, and try harder next time.

    On the other hand, if this is an area of study you find difficult, give yourself a pat on the back! A B+ is pretty good. Maybe you can bring it up to an A next time. But if you can't, it's NOT the end of the world.

    Depends wether the subject you got it in was one of your 'strong points' or not. If so, a B is pretty mediocre, though not terrible.
