Is it normal to be pro life and call yourself a feminist?

So, ive been interested in the discussion pro life/pro choice lately. When I was reading from some forum, I saw someone who was strongly pro life. He wanted to punish woman who 'killed' their 'babies', and even when a woman would be raped, he thought it was still wrong for her to choose abortion. In the same sentence he also called himself a feminist. Now, this got me thinking, is it possible to think these things about abortion, and forcing a woman into something she doesn't want, and also be a feminist?

I think it is definitely possible to be pro-life and feminist. These women see a child as a human at conception and thus distinguished from their mother once there.

Most of the liberal arguments about abortion are logical. Most pro-lifers are not angry bible thumpers who see children as suitable punishment for any woman who is ungodly enough to spread her accursed legs. They see embryos as people.

Conservative feminists believe that woman and baby are not one. They believe that the government subsidizing non-medical birth control when they could be putting more money into, say, finding a cure for diabetes to be wrong on a level between moral and fiscal. Adults who have sex should pay for their own protection. To conservative feminists, it's not about pushing for female privilege rather, it is for advocating and advancing female independence and personal responsibility.

Their bottom line is that sex is not a necessary function of life. You will die without food, water, shelter and necessary medication. Those are needs. You will not die without sex. That is a want. In this life, we must pay extra for what we want.

Makes sense. Most people who identify as an "ist" of any type are mostly about forcing other people to conform to their worldviews.

Abortion is really a tough issue. I'd say, though, it's best not to judge others. Don't have one if you're against it, but don't go on a rampage attacking others. IT's not up to you to decide if they're a horrible person or not.

I am not against women, but Feminism is a scourge on humankind. It's not bettering our planet. I can agree with the man on his pro-life stance. I think it is odd that he would support a movement that loves to de-masculine men and make them out as stupid man-children.

Every man who identifies as a feminist is a disgrace to masculinity.

My female friend writes IIN fanfiction. After she saw this I must say: congratulations. You two are now in one of her creepy little yaoi fanfictions.
