Is it normal to be really paranoid?

I'm kind of concerned of why I am so paranoid. I have never been able to tell anyone anything... Not even my best friend or my mom.

I can't even think without being scared that some one is able to hear me. Please tell me if this is normal. Don't be mean.

At one point in my life - well when I was younger and in high school, I was super - paranoid.
But I grew out of it and cared less what others think only what I think. It's a better place to be in.

I'm really sorry to hear that, but if you're a minor, I'm sure that some level of psychiatry could be covered by insurance. I hope you can convince your mom, I wish you the best.

If your the person who posted this IIN, I'm telling you that you should talk to a therapist. I'm assuming you're young, so I am suggesting that if you deal with it by talking to someone now, that you can avoid your paranoia getting worse.

    Simple enough?

The latter part of your story tells me, without knowing your age, that as you get older, you may fall deeper into yourself, ultimately resulting in serious mental illness. This is already affecting your relationships, and will continue to do so. If you seek help, and open up now, there is a much better chance of a therapeutic solution, if, however, you wait until it inevitably gets worse, them you may be at risk of schizophrenia.

I cannot definitively say whether it will or will not get worse, but speaking as a psych major, it is my belief that the answer is obvious. If one introverts the problem, one compounds the problem.
