Is it normal to be scared about having sex for the first time? (guy)

My friend, who is a guy, is scared about having sex for the first time. He told me today and wanted my opinion. Being a girl I told him he had nothing to worry about and no girl would reject him. There is no reason he should even feel this way. I asked him why he was concerned and he responded with "I don't know I just am!". Can someone please tell me if this is normal and if there is any advice for him?

  • It is scary. The chance of his banjo string breaking, his penis could be snapped by force... Not to mention STD's

It's not like you have to worry about your hymen exploding like girls do.

He should:) I know a guy who told us that the first time he had an opportunity to lose his virginity he just couldn't find where the hole was. That's true! And a friend (girl) told me that once she made love with a younger guy and the later didn't tell her that it was her first time until she saw that the guy was bleeding.
