Is it normal to be scared of a tv show that isn't the least bit scary?

Whenever I see on TV or hear mention of the show South Park, I have a bit of a panic attack. When I first watched it, I was scared out of my mind and scarred for two years, and even now I still get jumpy at the mention of it. Help, is it normal??

Aw. I get pissed of when people mention south park like "oh like in that south park episode" or quote it. I dont know why, I think its because sometimes it pushes the boundries so that it becomes really unfunny and I dont want to watch it.
I am rather mature for my age anyway.

Did you watch the very first episode with 'the visitors'? Because that scared me too. That high pitched ringing sound whenever you saw the aliens kept me awake at night. But since then, I've watched a lot more of it, and although some bits are kinda scary... It's not that bad a show. But I think I can totally understand where you're coming from. :)

I was scared of that american dad episode where francine's face gets burned off with acid. They hid her face until the end where it popped up unexpectidly. Terrifying!

What exactly are you scared of? That Kenny dies in every episode? Or when Cartman made that kid eat his parents?

    Or the Snooki monster? lol

Mr Blobby looks like he has an infectious disease. I think that's perfectly normal. And they showed E.T. every Christmas here for some reason (don't quite get the alien/nativity connection) and it scared my brother. Until my grandma commented on the bit where he was dying and went a bit grey. She said, "Aww, look at that poor little sod. He's as white as a sheet. Come on, lad. Get up and run around a bit. You'll be okay".

My grandma is one of the best women who ever lived. I miss her every single day.
