Is it normal to be scared of alarm clocks?

I hate having to use them. I can't sleep knowing that this sudden, loud annoying noise is going to wake me up from my sleep. Most of the time I can trust my biological clock to wake me up when I need too, but when I have to wake up very early for traveling I give in and use one.

I think that it's that hatred of being jolted up that makes me wake up right before the alarm rings.

I hate alarm clocks because when they go off it means it`s time to get up, & I hate getting up!

I hate alarm clocks. If an alarm clock is too loud or sudden you wake up all agitated. People who tend to wake up with their heart racing every day are more likely to die of heart attacks and conditions. So I suggest you better train your biological one. Orrr buy one that works better for you and isnt too loud.

Sometimes when I need to get up I will set the alarm on my phone and use one of my ringtones for the alarm sound. At least this way it can be something you enjoy hearing and does not have to be too loud.

I hate alarm clocks too but I don't have a biological clock. I'm pretty funny in the morning, I hear the alarm and I jump to my feet and nearly fall on my face.

Just deal with it like everyone else.
