Is it normal to be scared of computer errors?

Whenever my computer freezes and shows the 'blue screen of death' or any error I instantly run out of the room and hide from my computer, I have to get a family member to restart my computer and fix the error. Is that normal?

I understand how it can be scary :P

Once I imported a program file (instead of a mp3 file) into audacity (music editing software) and it made a digital glitchy sound and i tossed my headphones off of my head and ran out of the room. i was afraid to come back for a minute. eversince then i've been afraid of using audacity 0.0

@kniight: Yeah that's happened to me too. I keep my sound turned off now. Haha.

I know this post is very very old, but the same thing happens to me! (I know probably no one will read this but)
Today sometimes when I see errors on a computer pop up, I run out of the room. When I try and use one of my old games and it crashes, I run out of the room because I don’t like the noise.

LOL it's all psychological fear, so no, a computer cannot reach out and hurt you. However you can hurt the computer by smashing it to pieces. However I don't recommend smashing the pc to bits and pieces.
