I've been scared of escalators since I was little I'm okay with up ones now but still really scared if down ones I never no when to put my foot on it lol it just scares me and I'm not scared of heights? IIN??

    People in the uk do you remember in the 80's the public information advert of a shoe getting caught and squished on an escalator terrified most small children

    I am the same way. I always have to put my foot in the perfect spot before I let myself get on the escalator up or down. LOL.

    its normal, i fell off one before when i was younger due to my shoe string getting stuck i was afraid of them for a long time. imok now i just have to double check my shoes lol.

    Totally normal. I cannot count the times I've seen someone at an escalator waiting at the edge to 'jump' on.
