When I get up to use the bathroom during the night I find it impossible to flush the toilet with the lights off. If I do I have a panic attach . Get a freaky kind of pushing sensation in my back and I run back to bed and dive under the covers ... Is this normal ??
I have the same thing!
I get up from bed, use the toilet, wash my hands and then I grab some tissue, use it to flush the chain and then run ad fast as I can to my bed and lay on my back, only my head seen over the covers.
BUT, I don't know why. I know monsters don't come, I know that no ones in the house since I would've heard them, so I don't know what happens...
Yeah, I've got that too, I think I'm scared that, because it's dark, and there's so much noise around, it would be easy for someone or something to sneak up on me, whenever I have to get up for the BR I switch on every possible light around me and when I'm done I switch them off as I walk pass them and when the last one is out, I dive towards my bed and check if I'm still alone.. LOLZ
Danny I am a massive Dr Who fan, watched it as a kid . I don't remember a yeti ever being in it but you just may be on to something here.. So now I have to go de sensitise myself to yetis Lmao
They used to use a flushing toilet as the sound effect for a Yeti's roar in Doctor Who. Say you were little and got scared of a yeti episode, the flushing toilet could also be frightening
Lol I think it's normal. I have a little fear of the dark, and honestly who wouldn't get chills from a loud sound going off at night when it is pitch black o_o
Most would say no but I think you have a fear like me I am afraid of bathroom fans and I just wish I wasn't you have a phobia of night flushing it's ok
