Is it normal to be scared to drink?

okay, so everyone knows me as party boy Jason. I was a club promoter. i threw throw kegger's, kick backs, underground raves. ect...In the last month i stopped promoting and just started hanging out at bars every once in a while....(ive battled with depression/adhd my whole life.) but for the past two weeks i stopped drinking and idk why but ive become so scared of drinking...or scared of getting in a car/taxi/ect while ive been drinking. why i dont know? but does that make me weird? cause ive been drinking for a few years with no problems. but i dont know what the hell is going on with me... is this NORMAL?

I'd like to help you, but I'm not quite sure what to say about this.

Maybe you've partied too much lately, and you want to spend some quiet time? You shouldn't be afraid of drinking, though. As long as you do it in moderation, you'll be fine.

Try marijuana? Are you doing any other hard-core drugs that mess with you?

How is marijuana supposed to help?

It helps everything. :D But in all seriousness, Sounds like something happened to him that made him scared of drinking. IT would help him relax the next time he drinks and realize it's not so ungodly terrifying.

Perhaps. But I think in that case, he should go to a psychotherapist as well. Weed might help him to relax, but it won't get to the root of his problems.

True enough. But many people can't afford such things. That definetly is the best option though.
