Is it normal to be so hated by teachers for absolutely no reason???

My frends all ADORE me but it's the teachers that are the problem. All of them are cool yeah but they're constantly telling me I am useless and should really start thinking about the future and how I'll get a job if I carry on being 'like that' (that is: always joking, swearing and doing everything a normal teen likes to do)What's wrong with them? I'm getting great grades at class (VERY true not lying)I'm not insolent at class (Unlike SOME of the girls) I swear like any other teen but not in class just outside and not even in front of the bloody teachers! I dont dye my hair (It's bad for the hair anyway) I dont smoke weed or anything horrible...this girl in my class called Wendy smokes weed and is totally a troubled teen but they dont pay attention to her...it's me they want to harass!
Atleast stop calling me useless you bitches! Have you EVER heard a teacher call you useless?
What's wrong with them??????????

I agree with joybird. It's your potential that they don't want you to waste.

Just looking from the way you word your question and from the response you give honestly it tells a lot. I don't know your case but I would side with the teachers. When its one teacher you can blame the teachers. When its most of them, its probably you. If you sit at the back of the class and talk with your friends a lot that is enough for teachers to dislike you. If you want teachers to start liking you more, it would be great to not give them any attitude, sit more towards the front of the class, pay attention in class etc. If you've ever tried to teach a group of people, you'll know how annoying it is when theres always one person interrupting your teaching. It doesn't matter whether they are geniuses or not. I'd much rather teach an average student who sits and pays attention in class than an A+ student who doesn't pay attention and fools around.

This seems like something that's happening to me lately as well. The teachers seem to have it out for me.

I think they see your potential and actually care enough to comment.

Others who they regard as wasters will be ignored as a lost cause.

I agree with Gee, you could be rubbing them the wrong way. With my teacher whether they've been from CC or summer camps, I've always tried to be as polite as possible. However, a few rare times I've had a teacher that hated me. I never could understand what their problems were and why they would pick on me. I know that at least one of them was irked over my lack of appetite, but that still doesn't excuse the behaviour. Maybe, they find you too cheerful or too shy? Its hard to say. Them calling you useless isn't good. If you're really concerned about this maybe you tell your parents or the principle. Reporting their behaviour could put them in their places more, but it could cause them to harbour more ill will towards you.
