Is it normal for jobs to tell you that your over qualified for the job. What does that even mean? And why if Im a qualified candidate shouldnt they not want me in the job?

    I think it just means they're worried you won't stay in the job for long because you'll find it unsatisfying. They think you'll be looking out for other positions that pay more, or are generally better jobs because you're qualified for them.

    (I got told this once, but I still got the job because I was young and... I really wasn't that over-qualified).
