  • Exactly what do you mean by "unusually perverted"? Please share so we can possibly answer with some degree of understanding.

I'd guess immature if you think we can guess what you mean by unusually perverted

I always feel like I'm a huge perv. I'm always thinking about sex or masturbating.

Perversion, has now been redefined. Holier than thou is a hypocritical issue where you ask forgiveness then are absolved. There are no unforgiving inequities. It is considered a true perverted act if it harms someone. According to the Diagnostic Manual of Mental Disorders V, technically, harmless behaviors like some paraphilas are abnormal but cause little consternation.

Perversion is a subjective subject, dictated by the norms of society and culture. What was once considered perversion decades ago is considered commonplace today. Of course some things will always be considered taboo, for many justifiable and unjustifiable reasons.

I think the real issue is differentiating between thoughts and actions, and whether or not these thoughts or actions are negatively impacting you or those around you. Without knowing the details, I can't answer that for certain. It's up to you, and potentially a therapist if you feel it necessary to see one(I think many people would benefit from talk therapy, btw). It is one thing to have a thought or fantasy, and something else to act on it. If the act involves harming one's self or others, or removing the consent or autonomy of another individual, then that is moving into very dangerous territory and needs to be addressed with a professional.

Or maybe we're talking about a fetish that, while considered strange or atypical in polite society, is actually relatively harmless in the grand scheme of things. In that case, I wouldn't worry about it too much, as long as it isn't a compulsive fixation that impairs your day-to-day life.

Yea, are you unusually perverted or are you just immature or both. I have been told I am rather twisted individual, just because I am a crossdresser. I have friends and family that would not understand and do not. We are who we are , just keep it legal. Or not illegal.

That has merit. Lifestyles are preferences. Abnormal is better defined as atypical.
