training is long and hard, you should know that, you won't make any progress over-night. I am a bodybuilder but running is the same in a way. You've got to push yourself hard, eat well, drink lots of water, sleep and you'll get stronger man it's just a matter of time, have some patience.

You're just exhausted probably, there's no way you'll actually get worse by training, unless you're also eating too much.

i run track and feild and cross country all seasons. the one thing ive learned is that everyone trains differently. i am one of those people who at practice does really crappy, and sometimes physically cant do any better and sometimes practice at levels lower than jv, but at meets i compete at varsity level. what works for me is i have a hard day were i work really hard then an easy day before a meet where i go as slow as possible and thats what works for me so u might be something similar. figure out whats works and rememberthat ur training habits can change because im becoming more and more talented during practices

Set goals for yourself. Of course if you're training harder it feels like you're not getting any better. Set yourself a goal like I have so that way you can see yourself getting better :)
