Scientolgy kind of fits with the description.
Maybe one of the mormons on IIN can enlighten us more, but I think they believe that God now lives on another planet, but I could be wrong about that.
Yeah, UFO religions became prevalent around the same time Hollywood made films about UFOs. Amazing coincidence, eh? Plenty still exist although there's a dotted line between religion, cult, cargo cult, and delusion.
The Ancient Astronaut Theory - It's as normal as believing in anything else.
It is more logical to think like this than the mainstream although it is still, in my mind debated as to whether it was aliens or a whole load of imaginative stories just like Harry Potter.
There are cults that believe aliens are God such as Raelism (I learnt about it in RS). Cults can be dangerous though so please just be careful
Their are several beliefs like such. Have you heard of Nephilim? Maybe reptilians? Anunnaki are probably the closest there is to those beliefs, that I've heard.
The Nephilim are known mostly as giants that are fallen from God, but there are many other beliefs where they're concerned. Several relate to the Anunnaki.
Reptilians are more known for coming from earth. There are several several beliefs involved there, some to do with our creation, some not.
The Anunnaki are the closest to your beliefs- which I recommend you look into.
Just remember this when you do: Keep your mind open, yet not naive.
yeah, whatever rocks your boat. There was an official JEDI temple in my city, so nothing surprises me..really :)
As cœur stated, the Ancient Astronaut Theory matches what have said you believe in.
In future, please refrain from using the nondescript term for a deity or deities.
They are not supernatural creatures, but are natural creatures. They are very much more advanced (technologically) than us, that's all.
They did not create us. You were created by your parents, and they, in turn by theirs (your grandparents). If you follow your lineage back far enough, you can trace your ancestry back to single-celled creatures that lived on Earth billions of years ago.
They did not "land" on Earth, as you understand it. To understand this, you must learn about the actual nature of the Universe.
The idea of "creation", has more to do with death, rather than life. To understand this, you must first understand the actual nature of the Universe.
They dislike habitual and repetitive ceremony (in relation to them). They dislike creatures who make fanciful interpretations of them.
