I have an interest in the paranormal. I like ghost stories from people who claimed to have had supernatural experiences. Is it normal to believe in such things?
I didn't believe until I saw one when I was 28. Made a believer out of me.
Not normal. Ghosts do not exist. They are just an idea, a concept. That's all.
Whether something is considered 'normal' mostly means if most people believe it or do it.
Who cares what most people think or believe? Not me.
I can tell you that 'ghosts' or 'spirits' do exist.
I have seen them quite a few times throughout my lifetime.
A place I lived in for many years was 'haunted' or whatever term you'd like to use.
I would say that like people some are 'good' and some are 'bad' or some do both things considered 'good' or 'bad' depending on how they're feeling.
Some of them can harm you but AFAIK only through your own physical body and mind. I've never seen one move any objects and I'm not sure if they can. Maybe but I don't have that experience with them.
Younger people often have an easier time seeing these things because they aren't yet programmed by society to believe otherwise.
Of course it is, many people believe in ghosts, I do, I believe they are people unable to go to the afterlife since they are tied to this world by things they had in life, like family, or places, which they don't want to let go, or they are lost and need help to move on
It's normal because ghosts do exists. I not talking about the whole floating sheet or the glowing green phantom from Scooby-Doo. I'm talking about apporitions, voices from nowhere, mysterious cold winds, ect. I know that there is a paranormal part of the world because I'm part of it. No I'm not a ghost. But I am empathic, meaning I can sense and feed off of ghosts and other peoples emotions. Also I hear voices and see apporitions. I am what you would call psychic. and not the whole "I can see your future" crap. That's just a scam! But I actually can see in the future, but its something I can't control. Also when I'm around a place where something bad happened I start crying and shaking terribly. So ghosts and demons are real, Psychics are real and being one is more of a curse than blessing!
I don't believe in ghosts, but I done seen other things that's for sure.
It's normal to believe in ghosts, however, a lot of people don't believe in them until they see one themselves.
I think it is possible for people to continue living on this physical realm for a little while after death, however with that being said, im not sure if we are actually able to sense them in any way. Most paranormal stuff you hear about on tv etc is either made up or mistooken to be paranormal when its actually not. The only thing that came close to a paranormal experience for me was one time when I found my shower curtain closed, opened it, came back a few seconds later and it was closed again (I live alone). lol. It freaked me out but I mean, it could have been anything.
...Space_Ghost? is a loveable entity, you might see her on this site every so often.
If you see things that others don't you need your brain checked. Ghosts don't exist.
Course I do, seen manymyself (for real)! But suggesting they are real, suggests a lot more things of greater importance and greater significance are real and I dont want to start controversy with my beliefs so your belief is completely upto you!
It's a very common belief. Just please don't give any money to mediums or other supposed supernatural experts.
It's very normal, I'm the only person I know who doesn't believe in them.
I think it's normal. I know more people who believe in ghosts than those who don't. I actually find it a bit peculiar how widespread belief in the supernatural is. I personally don't believe in ghosts, but lots of people do.
