Is it normal to believe in ghosts and demons?

I’m not one of those ninnies who sees shadow people around every corner or instantly assumes ghosts when there’s an unexpected sound, I’m not religious either and have never had a paranormal experience or have had the feeling of being watched or not alone. I believe in and fear haunted, possessed, and cursed places and objects, spirits and demonic entities, spirit portals, and sometimes certain methods of communication with the supernatural. Ghost hunting shows, psychics, crystal healing, and moon energy however are all fake.

      Right on! When I was in junior high my little clique of girls used to play something similar to the ouija board, and although nothing bad ever happened I wouldn't want to take my chances again.

      I'm a lot in doubt of what I actually believe or not but I realize I too would be terrified to use a Ouija board, so I do believe at least a little

    I don't believe in demons. I do, however, believe in ghosts, spirits. I think that science will prove that they do, indeed, exist and that there's nothing paranormal about them. I think that ghosts and spirits are simply people who once lived and have shed their mortal coil to go on to the next level of their existence. They live in another dimension.

      Exactly, even if demons and evil ghosts aren’t real we still get a bad vibe of certain objects and places for a reason.

    I believe in energy, and I think some things like crystals or planets can emit energy

    I also believe in intuition and the collective unconscious, like stereotypes

    I think there could be a correlation between what I said and what you said

    I have the exact same stance. I only believe in the paranormal because I trust that the people in my life who have experienced things aren't constantly bullshitting me

    I believe in ghosts as my house is haunted. My parents and I once all clearly heard a lady cough in the dark old dining room when we were the only ones in the house.

    My big cat who was my good friend passed away last December and has visited me many times as a ghost since. His scent will sometimes hit me full force outside my room and linger in the air, he has scratched my door and made my headphones go static as I tried to put my door stop in (they are good quality and have never done that before or since). He has left his claws on windows for me to find (that get cleaned once a week) and once even plodded over my legs in my bed. I don’t know about demons but ghosts are real.
