I believe in God, but I don't believe Jesus Christ "died for our sins." I just believe that there is a God and he started everything, and he doesn't really interfere with the world. Is this normal?
God IS jesus and jesus DID die for our sins!!!
When I was about 8 years old, his mother appeared to me and spoke to me. It was not a dream, I was awake. Remember, you don't need to have an apparition for you to believe that Jesus is God, "Blessed is he who has not seen and yet believes."
yes its called being a theist there are plenty of people out there who believe in God be it just God or abrahams God christians dont really have a theist faith but more of a polytheists because of the whole jesus and god and holy spirit bit, so if you believe in the trinity your actually pagan but most say christian with no sect, or monotheist so similar to the jews and muslims
Good grief, I should hope you would think it's normal to believe in a god and not be a Christian. Christians only make up about twenty five percent of all god-believers.
It's not being athiest they do not believe in any god, what you are is just non religious and is very normal
I feel the same exact way as you. I come from a christian family but i have come to question it. For all we know everything in the bible could be made up. How can Jesus be the only way to salvation if there is soo many other religions. So every good jew, muslim, hindu, buhdist and any other religion will supposidly go to hell? It makes no sense. What does make sense is each religion is a different door leading to the same place. Jews won't go to hell.... Jesus was Jewish... they're His people, so they won't go to hell..
I'm obviously a God-Follower. I don't particularly like the word "Christian" because I'm a follower of God. He is my Savior! He paid the ultimate sacrifice for MY sins and for that, through Him, can I go to Heaven.... it's amazing <3

Actually the teahings of Christianity r way diffrent than ppl understand. It's base on love and peace. While, muslims, for example, r willing to kill ppl if they r not a Muslim.
I believe in God and I'm Jewish. There are other religions, DUH. You can also be a deist, without any religious categorizations, as religion is man-made, and belief in God is innate.
I have a similar belief, only I don't refer to him as the "God" most people believe in. I believe in a higher being that created everything and goes by many names and faces. I also don't believe Jesus died for our sins, I just think he was badass ;b
God is Simply God. All the religions are made by mankind and i Believe (I want 2 say that I know) that God is above all that. all the holy books indicate towards the same goals and provide similar teachings.
I have my own theory about the religions being different from each other and it came from a long study.
I just want to conclude that god is one worshiped in different parts of world in different but unique ways.
