Is it normal to believe in santa at 13?
My sister is almost 13 and everyone in the family stopped around 10 and no one wants to break it to her, but it's getting to that age where it's like "why".

Difficult to believe that a kid that old hasn't been told the truth by friends long ago. You sure she's not just saying she believes for mercenary reasons?
We told our daughter about Santa the Christmas after she turned ten.
She's a pretty smart kid, but she'd genuinely never questioned his existence. When we told her, you could almost see the lightbulb going on over her head as explanations for things she'd always vaguely wondered about became clear.
In some ways, it was worse for her since, because my wife is Dutch, she'd also had annual visits from Sinterklaas. And since we were coming clean, we tossed in some hard truths about the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy as well, although she said she'd has suspicions about the last for a while.
I never felt really comfortable about lying to her about all these fantasy characters, but she took it really well, and she just thought of it as a long-term prank we'd pulled on her.
I've tried to test if she knew. She believes that the elfs on the shelf cannot be touched or they can't fly back to santa. She started crying when the dog grabbed one last week.

I reckon a lot of kids don't say they no longer believe in santa because they're worried they won't get presents any more. I'm fairly sure my 11 year old grand daughter doesn't believe in santa any more, particularly as a mate of mine whom she knows works as a santa in her local shopping centre.
However, both she and my daughter are really into one of those Elf on the Shelf things and it's a fun game they play: not sure if my grand daughter really believes in it, but they're both having fun with it moving around the house "by itself" so who cares?
Just because you're bad and he never visits you, doesn't mean he isn't real.
If he isn't real, prove it!!🎅🎅🎅🤶🤶🤶
