Is it normal to believe that jesus was not white?

I thought it was pretty well excepted he was middle eastern.

I thought Jesus has very tan skin. He was born in the middle east. I don't think he's white but i don't think he's black sorry. That's just my opinion tho.

He's a mideast jew. He's not black or white. St. Nick isn't black or white, either. Well actually, right now they're transparent.

Opinions are like assholes...everybody has one. Who cares what colour his skin was. The message should remain the same. That's why their are like 1000 different denominations of Christianity.

As an American person of Western European decent and a member of the Roman Catholic Church I do enjoy and appreciate the artistic depictions of Christ where he is shown with sandy blond or golden brown hair and blue eyes, because it's an image to which I can relate. I make no apologies and resent those who feel entitled to one. I believe that anyone who chooses to depict Jesus artistically is free to do so as whatever ethnicity they choose as long as it's done in a reverent manner. I see nothing wrong with depictions of a black Jesus. It's called artistic license.

Jesus was mostly a brownish colour. There is also a Korean Jesus and a Vietnamese Jesus, Black Jesus. The Jew Jesus was brownish.

I doubt he was black. I expect he would have been brown skinned, with features more akin to contemporary Middle East Asians than Northern European whites or Continental Africans.

Yes. According to western society jesus was a fair skinned man with blue eyes. They can't accept he ain't white.

Well if we go by the bible then Revelations 1:15 says "And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters." Brass turns jet black when it burns but we'll be here all day. That's too deep.

Native Mid-easterners don't have white skin. They don't look white. There is a movement/theory that states that the true Jews (Hebrews) were/are Africans and that the other types aren't real Jews.

Jesus wasn't white in the sense of European white, but he was Caucasian. Arabs and Indians are Caucasians, even though they aren't "white" per se.

White...never thought so, fair yes...

I should point out, though, that I am Not a Christian.
