Is it normal to blur at will

I also can blur at will I found out wen I was a kid i can change the intensity level for the blur but like wen I'm really close up on a object my blur doesn't work..well it's like it work the blur vision is on as soon as I start to come like inche back from the object but when I get really close to it...it disappears but it's not gone just doesn't show while you up close on an object so I'm guessing as long as you have distance as long as a new pencil u can do it and the closer you get to the object the more your blur vision doesn't work that up close but I always thought of the blur vision as a gift that I completely don't kno how to fully use

No big deal, anyone can focus and unfocus their eyes. Perhaps you could try focussing your brain on something more productive.

But, can you stare into blank space and openly ignore people?

I used to enjoy blurring my vision while sitting in a chair with a mug of egg nog while looking at my Christmas tree.

Yes, it's normal. It is something pretty much everyone can do. You are talking about crossing your eyes. The reason things get blurry when you bring them close to your eyes is because your eyes are naturally crossing at that point.
