Kitty likes watching you poop. He/she probably thinks "That's a weird looking litter box."

Well........not sure if that's normal or not. When I used to have cats one of them always followed me there. He liked to play peek-a-boo from behind the shower curtain.
But, why do you bring your cat?

Well, I'm guessing your cat has a strong connection with you!
Enjoy it! I did. I miss my kitties.

I don't know. What is it exactly, that you and your cat do, in the toilet, together?

  • Gosh, I don't bring my cat there, he sneaks in as I close the door. He usually hops up on to the sink and demands that I turn the tap on for him by cocking his head to the side and meowing loudly at my face.

Cats are weird and wonderful little creatures.

How does your cat feel about all of this? I don't bring my cat to the toilet but he does follow me. If I shut the door he opens it and walks in anyway.

Don't know why everybody thinks this is weird. Sometimes my cat follows me into the bathroom and scrubs against my legs while I do my business. She just always wants to be wherever I am, that's all.

Although, if you are forcing your cat to watch you while you're on the toilet when he/she doesn't want to, then that's not normal.

You should never force someone to be present in the toilet with you, human or animal.

My cat likes to sometimes accompany people to the toilet. She especially used to do it before we got the new sink, because there were more nooks and crannies for her to get in, like begin the toilet. Now there a hole in one of the walls due to renovation and a boarded up hole from ceiling downstairs, some times she like to sit in the hole, but this scares us to no end. However, I found that if I ask her politely and calmly, she comes right out with no stubbornness.

Also, I've always refused to use the toilet while she's in there. What do you and your cat do whilst in the toilet?
