Is it normal to change your major in college more than once?
I've actually changed twice already, but I feel that once was already bad.

Would you prefer to end up with a degree in a field you didn't like? I would hope everybody kept changing their major until they found a field that inspired them and one in which they could excel at. Tough titties if the admins at the school don't like the extra work.
Agreed.
@OP, I am currently on my third college major. I started with Criminal Justice because I already had the credits and just wanted an easy ride to a BA. Filling the requirements for the job I REALLY wanted, a job in the Special Education field, seemed to be a daunting task at the time. I had no family college background, no guidance and no confidence. After realizing that a CJ degree would be worthless to me, I changed my major to business on the (shitty) sage advice of some old asshole.
I did good in business classes, but hated everything about the curriculum. I hated what I was being taught and couldn't get over the mentality of the other students in that department. I knew I'd never get a job I believed in with that degree. I decided to suck it up and go for a degree in a field that I knew would help me reach my dream job and chose Developmental Psychology. I'm transferring to University next fall and I've already got an associate's.
My life and outlook has improved dramatically. 1000%. I now have a set goal that I am on my way to completing, a clear career path and a clear cut plan. I already see the light at the end of the tunnel and I'm chomping at the bit to get there.
It took me a while to get here but I'd rather have been a broke college student for a couple more years than normal than that 40 year old suburban Mom who regrets waking up on weekday mornings to go to an unsatisfying fuck-fest of a job. I've already worked in my field and soon, I'll have the degree AND the experience to show for it.
Don't worry it's fine. It's better than settling on a career that you'll later grow to hate.
I changed my major from 'keg stands' to 'Bonning Cheerleaders' Murica!
