Is it normal to check you answers as you're doing your homework?

or is it better to check it at the end?

I feel as if it's better to check my answers as I go through hw but I feel if you check your answers in the end it prepares you for tests better. I want to do better in my college classes & just wanted to know which way you found was more effective. Thanks!

    To be honest, both. It's good to check your answers after you've written them (when you're still in the frame of mind you wrote them in), but it's also good to come back to them after you've answered something completely different, because getting back into the mindset you answered questions in is a kind of mini-revision.

    I do it after I finish each answer but only if I'm not sure I did it right, so I don't end up doing the whole assignment completely wrong
