Is it normal to constantly check my kik account constantly?

I'm not sure why but sometimes I unlock my iPod for no apparent reason and just check my kik and other social apps. Do I just have too much free time? By the way post kik usernames if you're up for talking!

    Kik is a messaging app, basically like texting but simpler & over wifi. You can either private message or chat in groups.

    For a more detailed description look it up on the App Store. It's also free.
