Is it normal to constantly touch your own skin when it's cool/cold?

Whenever my body temperature is lower and I'm cold or cool, I constantly have the urge to touch the coolest parts of my skin on my hands and my arms because it feels really good. It's like I'm 'absorbing' the 'cold' from my skin. I feel like it's a really bad habit that I need to snap myself out of, because I am frequently touching my hands now in front of others. I touch my palms to my upper arms, or my knuckles, or my wrists and basically anywhere that the temp is nice and cold.

Does anyone else do this? Or do I have some sort of weird sensory issue going on? I just really love the feeling of touching cold skin (God that sounds incredibly creepy, for the record the thought of touching a dead person makes me want to barf so it's nothing like that) even when it's not my own. When I was younger I would touch my mom's arms when they were cold too.

Is it normal?

For a few times my right arm was ice cold while the rest of me was perfectly warm. It was so weird. But yes I did touch it to warm it up.
