Is it normal for someone who claims to dislike you to use the phrases and sayings you say when talking to other people? I find it to be unoriginal and a bit contradictory though it doesn't bother me. But I was wondering if this behavior is normal.

I have been a 'victim' of this, and it was pretty irritating. Ofcourse, they tended to fail at copying me, and so it was more laughable than anything.

How does not liking someone as a person prevent you from emulating the one or two traits you see as worthy?
